They have kept our holiday cottage carpets in ‘brand new’ condition for years. They’ve also treated our mattresses and will be cleaning our curtains in situ shortly. They’re so professional and helpful, we wouldn’t trust anyone else 😊

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 5 star service from Cleaning Doctor South Devon. It’s the second time I’ve used Tricia and Martin to clean our carpets and rugs. The service and result is amazing and well priced. They work so well as a couple and also give great advice regarding moth proofing certain areas. Having a young Labrador, who is allowed everywhere, my buttermilk carpets were definitely turning into more of a Devon red muddy colour, a few hard working hours from Cleaning Doctor and they are buttermilk colour again. I cannot thank them enough, the result is incredible and I would never have thought they could clean them to get that result. They are such lovely people too. Don’t even think about using anyone else. Thanks Tricia and Martin and love from Willow 🐾🐾🙏🏼

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Martin and Tricia were friendly, polite and professional and most importantly did a smashing job on our two heavily used sofas and armchair They gave them a new lease of life, left them looking really clean and protected them for the next couple of years too.

How We Clean Furniture

Our Professional Systems

We use industry-leading technology to ensure the best results for your specific fabric type, whether it's delicate cotton or durable synthetic.

Hot-Water Extraction

The most common and effective method for deep cleaning most upholstery fabrics. It injects cleaning solution deep into the fibres and extracts it along with the dirt.

Deep Clean: Removes embedded dirt & allergens

Drying Time: Typically 5-7 hours

Safe: Child and pet safe solutions

Specialist Stain Removal

Targeted treatment for tough upholstery stains like spills, body oils, ink, makeup and pet accidents. We identify the stain type and fabric, then use the safest products and techniques to lift it without damaging colour or texture.

Precision Spotting
Stain-specific solutions matched to the fabric and the mark

Fabric Safe
Controlled treatment to protect dyes, pile and delicate fibres

Better Results
Improved removal with less risk of spreading or watermarking

Stain Assessment

We test in an inconspicuous area and choose the right method before treatment.

Odour and Residue Control

Breaks down the source of staining and helps prevent re-soiling from sticky residues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our expert upholstery cleaning services.

How much is it to get my sofa cleaned?

We provide an individual quote for every piece of upholstery we clean. There are hundreds of fabric types and thousands of sofa styles, so getting an accurate quote based on your specific items is important. Our quotes are all-inclusive.

How do I arrange a quotation?

You can call us to arrange a home inspection where we can give you a quote instantly. Alternatively, send us photographs of your furniture (wide shots and close-ups of stains) via WhatsApp or email for a quick estimate.

How long will it be before I can sit on my sofa?

Drying times vary by method. With our standard hot water extraction, upholstery typically takes 5-7 hours to dry. We can use low-moisture methods for certain fabrics which dry much faster. We always advise you on the expected drying time for your specific furniture.

Can you remove all marks and stains?

We inspect your upholstery first and give an honest assessment. While we aim for 100% removal and are fully trained in advanced stain removal, some stains may be permanent. We will let you know what to expect before we begin.

Can you stain protect my upholstery?

Yes! We have water-based and solvent-based stain protectors that create an invisible shield on your fabric. This can be applied immediately after cleaning or on new furniture deliveries.

Are your solutions child and pet safe?

Our main cleaning solutions are child and pet safe. Occasionally, specific tough stains require stronger solvents (e.g., for gum or ink), which might need caution for a short time, but we will always inform you if these are necessary.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. The more items you have cleaned in one visit, the better the rate. Consider having your carpets or curtains cleaned at the same time as your suite for the best value.
