Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Cleaning Doctor for a deep clean on our new build before moving in. From the minute we contacted Shandré, she was nothing short of helpful and polite, she ensured we could have the clean done before our move in date and was in constant communication which was very much appreciated. The team who came to the house were so lovely and the job they did was absolutely brilliant! I was so impressed when I saw their finished work. This is not the first time we have used Cleaning Doctors, they also cleaned the roofs of our family business and again, Jake and Bryan did a phenomenal job. Cleaning Doctors are efficient and very well priced. If you have any cleaning needs, these are your people.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Cleaning Doctor team are the most professional cleaning we have experienced (after many experiences): they are so responsive and nice, arrived just on time, didn’t need anything from us (they brought their own tools - everything!), and were very quick, we couldn’t even feel or hear them! The house looked shiny and so clean after they left, and felt very refreshed!
Highly recommended, a BIG thank you to Shandré and her team!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our after builder cleaning services.

How much does after builder cleaning cost?

Every property is different, so we provide an individual quote based on the size of the area, the extent of the building work, and the level of cleaning required. Our quotes include all labour, equipment, and cleaning solutions needed to complete the work.

How soon after the builders leave can you start?

We can usually start within 24–48 hours of the builders completing their work. We recommend allowing any paint or plaster to fully dry before we begin our deep clean for the best possible results.

What areas are covered in an after builder clean?

We cover all affected areas including ceilings, walls, light fittings, cupboard tops, skirting boards, door frames, sockets, switches, windows (internal), carpets, hard floors, and any other surfaces impacted by the building work.

How long does an after builder clean take?

It depends on the size of the property and the extent of the work carried out. A single room may take 2–3 hours, while a full house renovation could take a full day or more. We will provide a time estimate during our assessment.

Do you clean windows as part of the service?

Yes, internal window cleaning is included as standard. We remove stickers, paint splashes, plaster residue, and construction dust from all internal glazing. External window cleaning can be arranged as an additional service.

Are you insured for post-construction cleaning?

Yes, Cleaning Doctor is fully insured with comprehensive Public Liability insurance. All our operators are trained and experienced in working safely in post-construction environments.

Do you clean carpets too?

Absolutely. We offer professional carpet deep cleaning as part of our after builder clean. Construction dust and debris can become deeply embedded in carpet fibres, and our specialist equipment extracts all of it, leaving your carpets fresh and clean.
