Earnan from Cleaning Doctor did a fantastic job cleaning and treating our roof in preparation for solar panels. Why does moss come back after pressure washing?

Pressure washing only removes the visible growth. The spores and roots remain deep in the porous surface and quickly regrow. Our biocide treatment kills the root system, ensuring a much longer-lasting clean.

Is the treatment safe for my pets?

Yes, once the treated surface is dry, it is completely safe for pets and children. We take precautions during application to keep everyone safe.

How long does the treatment take to work?

You will see immediate results as we clean the surface, but the biocide continues to work for weeks, lightening the surface and preventing regrowth. The "self-cleaning" effect on roofs can continue for months.

Will it damage my roof tiles?

No. We use a "Soft Wash" method which relies on the cleaning product rather than high pressure. This is the recommended method for cleaning roofs as it avoids damaging the delicate surface of the tiles.

How often should I get this done?
