Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First class communication and work. Had to get work done while out of the country. Donal handled everything in what was probably a challenging job, no water to the house and the like. Delighted with the result and would highly recommend. John G

"I recently used The Cleaning Doctor for an exterior house cleaning and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From the moment I reached out to them, they were professional and responsive, and provided me with a clear and detailed quote for the work.

The team that came to my home was friendly and efficient, and they did a fantastic job cleaning my siding, windows, and gutters. My house looks like new again! They even took the time to clean up after themselves and left my property looking spotless.

Overall, I highly recommend The Cleaning Doctor for anyone in need of exterior house cleaning services. Their attention to detail, excellent customer service, and affordable pricing makes them a top choice in the industry. Thank you to the team at The Cleaning Doctor for a job well done!"

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used the Cleaning Doctor a few times over the years and we have always had a great experience from Donal and his team. If it was a planned deep clean of carpets and furniture before the arrival of a new addition or after redecoration or an emergency clean because a bird flew in and messed up the whole living room we always had a promt and professional experience from the cleaning Doctor. Thank you Donal and Team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used the services of O' Sullivan Cleaning Doctor Kerry on my home in Killarney in preparation for some external painting (house, kerbs, and external walls) and was extremely impressed with the results. Not only was Donal`s team very polite, courteous, and worked very diligently to do a great job, but I really wondered whether I needed to paint at all when they were finished as they did such a great job. I whole heartedly recommend.

How We Restore Fire Damage

Our Professional Systems

We follow a careful restoration process – remove soot and smoke residue, then neutralise the deep-set smoke odours that linger long after the fire is out.

Soot & Smoke Residue Removal

Soot is acidic and spreads far beyond the burnt area, staining and corroding surfaces over time. We carefully clean soot and smoke residue from walls, ceilings, furnishings and contents using the correct methods for each surface.

Surface-Safe Cleaning: Right method per material

Stops Corrosion: Removes acidic soot fast

Contents & Structure: Walls, ceilings & furnishings

Smoke Odour Elimination

Smoke odour penetrates deep into fabrics, carpets and porous surfaces. We don't just mask it – we use professional deodorising treatments to neutralise smoke odours at the source so your property smells clean and fresh again.

Odour Neutralising: Treats the source, not the symptom

Deep Treatment: Carpets, upholstery & surfaces

Careful & Considerate

We treat your home and contents with care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our fire, smoke and soot damage restoration.

What should I do after a fire?

Once the fire service has confirmed the property is safe to enter, try to avoid touching or disturbing sooty surfaces, as this can spread the residue and rub it deeper in. Contact us as soon as you can – the sooner soot is cleaned, the less permanent damage it causes.

How quickly can you attend?

Soot is acidic and causes ongoing damage the longer it's left, so we prioritise fast attendance. Call us and we'll let you know how quickly we can be with you and advise on the first steps.

Can you remove smoke smells completely?

In most cases, yes. Smoke odour penetrates deep into fabrics and surfaces, so we use professional deodorising treatments that neutralise the odour at its source rather than masking it. We'll give you an honest assessment of what can be achieved.

Can you save my carpets, curtains and furniture?

Often, yes – especially if we're called quickly. We clean and deodorise soft furnishings affected by smoke and soot, and we'll advise honestly on what can be restored and what may be beyond saving.

Will you help with my insurance claim?

Yes. We document the damage and our restoration work with photographs and clear reports you can pass to your insurer to support your claim.

Do you clean up water and extinguisher damage too?

Yes. Fires often leave water and extinguisher residue behind from firefighting. We clean up and dry the aftermath as part of returning your property to a safe, clean condition.
