Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Conor about clearing gutters, cleaning the fascia, soffits and external windows. He communicated very clearly the anticipated cost and his availability. He contacted me a week beforehand and confirmed his availability. He carried out the work to a high standard and went above & beyond in helping with an issue with one of the gutters. I will definitely use Conor again in the future.

Excellent service from Conor as always! We had another job done previously and he sprayed a section of the gable to see some possible results. After 4 weeks we saw immense improvement, so we had the full job done. Would highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After another superb experience - gutters, roof and added cleaning of solar panels to the list - I continue to be exceptionally happy with the service that Conor provides. I've recommended Conor to many neighbours and friends at this point, and there is consistent positive feedback. Excellent job, great conversation and a really pleasant interaction at a fantastic price. Conor offers great value for the quality of service provided. I'll be booking again! Thanks Conor.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Conor recently cleaned our roof & cleaned shutes and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Our roof was very bad and now it looks like a new roof. We had very difficult moss growth in areas. Conor explained everything. He took photos of cracked tiles, small holes etc., so that we could see any small repairs that we will need to attend to. He is extremely thorough. You won't be disappointed.

Why Choose Cleaning Doctor?

The benefits of our professional patio cleaning services in Clare.

Natural Stone Experts

We understand different stone types - sandstone, limestone, granite, slate - and use appropriate pressure and treatments for each to avoid damage.

Black Spot Removal

Those stubborn black spots are actually lichen. We use specialist biocide treatments that kill the organism at the root for lasting removal.

Safety & Grip

Algae-covered patios are dangerously slippery. Our cleaning restores grip and we can apply anti-slip treatments for extra safety.

Decking Restoration

We also clean and restore wooden and composite decking, removing slippery algae and restoring the original appearance.

Weed Control

We remove all weeds from joints and can apply treatments to inhibit regrowth. Re-pointing services are also available.

Long Lasting Results

Our biocide treatments continue working for weeks after cleaning, preventing rapid regrowth of algae and moss.

Price Promise

The price quoted includes all labour, materials and equipment - no hidden extras or surprise charges.

Fully Insured

We carry full public liability insurance for all exterior cleaning work, giving you complete peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our patio cleaning services.

What are black spots on my patio and can you remove them?

Black spots are actually lichen - a combination of algae and fungus. They have root-like structures that penetrate into the stone. We use specialist biocide treatments that kill the organism at the root, then pressure wash to remove. This provides much longer-lasting results than just pressure washing alone.

Do you offer re-pointing services?

Yes, we can re-point your patio with kiln-dried sand or mortar after cleaning. This stabilises slabs, prevents weed regrowth and gives a neat, finished appearance. We'll advise on the best option for your specific patio type.

Can you clean decking as well as patio slabs?

Absolutely! We clean both wooden and composite decking. We use appropriate pressure levels and specialist treatments to remove slippery algae without damaging the surface. We can also apply oils or sealants for protection.

Do I need to be home and do you need access to an outside tap?

We do need a water supply, ideally an outside tap. If you don't have one, we can sometimes use an internal tap with a hose run through a window. You don't need to be home as long as we have access to the patio and water supply.

How long before I can walk on my patio after cleaning?

You can usually walk on the patio immediately after cleaning, though it will be wet. If we've applied a sealant, you'll need to keep off for 24-48 hours to allow it to cure properly. We'll give you specific advice based on the treatments used.
