Common questions about gutter cleaning services.

Do you need to use ladders?

No! We use a specialist gutter vacuum system with extendable carbon fibre poles that reach up to 40 feet. This means we can clear most gutters safely from the ground without ladders, scaffolding, or walking on your roof.

How do I know the gutters are actually clear?

We use a camera system attached to our pole so we can see inside the gutters before and after cleaning. We take photos and videos to show you exactly what we've removed and that the gutters are flowing freely.

What if my gutters are really high?

Our vacuum system reaches up to 40 feet (approximately 3 storeys). For higher properties or complex access issues, we can use cherry pickers or scaffolding towers if necessary.

Do you clean the downpipes as well?

Yes, clearing downpipes is included. We flush them through to ensure water flows freely from the gutter all the way to ground level.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

We recommend annual cleaning, ideally in autumn after most leaves have fallen, or in early spring before the rainy season. Properties near trees may need cleaning twice a year.

Is gutter cleaning included with roof cleaning?

Yes. Every roof clean includes a full gutter clear-out, because the moss and debris we remove from the roof would otherwise end up blocking your gutters and downpipes. If your roof doesn't need cleaning, we can clear your gutters on their own. See our roof cleaning in Cavan.

Can you clean gutters on a bungalow, extension or conservatory?

Yes. Our vacuum system works from the ground, so we can clear gutters on bungalows, single-storey extensions and conservatories without leaning ladders against glass, roof panels or soft guttering. Just tell us which areas you want cleared when you ask for your quote.
